Property Accountant

Summary

Join Tripalink, a leading co-living and apartment rental platform, as an Accountant. You will report to the Accounting Manager and Controller, preparing financials for multiple clients with diverse reporting needs. Responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, ensuring timely payments, and collaborating with clients and property managers. You will also prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and mentor junior staff. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 3+ years of property management experience, and GAAP knowledge. The salary range is $65,000-$75,000 annually.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 3+ Years of Property Management Experience required
• GAAP experience required
• Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet multiple deadlines with minimum supervision

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to Accounting Manager and Controller
• Prepare financials for multiple clients with different reporting requirements, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Monitor cash and ensures that critical payments are made timely and prepares funding reports as needed
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and property managers in a timely manner while providing exceptional customer service
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation for each individual property
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly
• Perform bank reconciliations as appropriate
• Act as a mentor to help train new or less experienced accounting staff

Preferred Qualifications

• AppFolio & Entrata experience preferred
• MBA degree, CPA certification preferred
