Summary

Join Alimentiv as a Proposal Specialist and contribute to the business development team by preparing comprehensive proposal responses for new business opportunities. Collaborate with clinical experts to develop customized responses and budgets for sponsors. This role involves proposal development, costing support, and other business development tasks. The position is remote-based and requires a Bachelor's degree (Health/Life Sciences or Business preferred), experience with budget building for clinical trials, advanced Excel skills, and strong communication abilities. Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (Health/Life Sciences or Business specialty preferred)
  • Experience with building budgets (for Clinical Trials preferred)
  • Advanced user ability with Excel and proficient with other MS Office tools
  • High degree of detail orientation
  • Logical and process thinking mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Understand and share proposal requirements thoroughly
  • Work with multiple internal stakeholders to develop proposal content in line with RFP/RFI
  • Summarize and prepare (with support of internal stakeholders) key information required to support preparation of proposal responses
  • Document all assumptions
  • Review and ensure the final proposal meets Sponsor expectations and a high standard of quality
  • Assist in maintaining proposal tools – templates, graphics, experience tables etc
  • Assist BD Manager on RFIs
  • Support statement of Work (SOW) development
  • Generate initial costing assumptions
  • Generate/populate initial CRO costings in Alimentiv tools then work with clinical experts to refine and finalize
  • Support BD Manager/Vendor Manager in obtaining pre-award budgets from vendor and site partners
  • Ensure rolled up costing is correct prior to sending for Executive review and sign off
  • Support amendments or updates during the process
  • Thoroughly understand final costing and be able to explain to internal stakeholders
  • Book, provide preparatory information and attend internal bid/no bid, strategy and hand-off meetings
  • Some occasional support for bid defenses is required
  • Coordinate with clinical team, site feasibility if required
  • Ensure all data and documents are saved to appropriate locations (BOX, CRM etc.)
  • Provide feedback on BD tools to ensure continuous improvement
  • Generate BD reports as needed
  • May be asked to attend conferences to provide booth and meeting support
