Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Summary

Join Eleanor Health as a remote Advanced Practice Nurse, providing direct patient care for Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), substance use, and other psychiatric disorders. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless integration of medical services. This role requires an active Illinois APN license, MSN degree, and national certification. Requirements

• Current active, unencumbered Illinois Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license
• MSN degree or higher
• Current National Certification as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Have experience prescribing MAT in the past
• Have an active DEA to prescribe controlled substances

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for MAT, substance use and other psychiatric disorders both in-person and via telemedicine
• Work closely with Eleanor Health Practice Administrator, Lead Clinician, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of medical services with whole-person support services
• Contribute to a unique and attractive culture that values mission-orientation, proactive initiative, ethical behavior, and collaboration
• Ensure medical care and documentation are in compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations and CARF accreditation standards
• Participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives
