Join Mantra Health, a company revolutionizing student mental health care, as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. This fully remote, 1099 position offers flexible scheduling (minimum 10 hours/week) and the opportunity to provide virtual therapy to college students in New York. You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborate with various teams. Compensation is based on session rates and includes additional pay for meetings. Requirements

• Hold a valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the New York State
• Possess 1+ years of experience in outpatient community mental health setting
• Expertise in treating common mental health conditions among college-aged students including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders
• Understand culturally responsive treatment and have experience with diverse patient groups
• Comfortable assessing the urgency of escalating risk scenarios
• Equipped with a quality video camera and a stable internet connection to facilitate virtual care

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality, culturally competent virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments
• Conduct biopsychosocial intakes focused on whole-person care with clear diagnostic assessments
• Engage with patients through our collaboration portal
• Collaborate with supervisors, peers, and on-campus treatment providers
• Document clinical encounters for effective care coordination
• Partner with our care navigation team to support students
• Collaborate with campus care teams to create longer-term treatment plans when necessary

Preferred Qualifications
