Remote Psychiatrist

Summary

Amaze Health is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide statutory supervision for their growing virtual mental health practice. The psychiatrist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, prescribe medications, and maintain patient confidentiality.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Psychiatrist in a telemedicine setting
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics with mental health disorders throughout the lifespan
• Broad knowledge of common mental health medication, side effects and contraindications
• Respect for patient’s confidentiality
• Doctor of medicine (MD) or doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) - in good standing
• DEA License
• Licensed in all 50 states - active Puerto Rico licensed, a bonus

Responsibilities

• Ask intuitive questions to discover causes of illness
• Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history
• Prescribe and interpret lab tests to obtain more information
• Prescribe medications or drugs and provide comprehensive instructions for administration
• Collaborate with other Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Counselors and Nurses to form a high performing team
• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients

Benefits

Salary: $1,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month
