Requirements

• Internship candidates must be able to work effectively with a close-knit agency on public relations efforts for a diverse range of clients in hospitality, food and beverage, entertainment, and lifestyle sectors
• The candidate must have good organizational skills and the ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments, and deadlines
• This person must have strong verbal and written communications skills with a demonstrated passion for pursuing a career in public relations or a related field
• Must be a current student attending college/university
• Must be at least 18 years of age upon start date

Responsibilities

• Familiarization with local, regional and national media through research and list building
• Understanding of agency clients through press clipping and reporting
• Participation in client brainstorms
• Draft pitches and press materials under the guidance of supervisors
• Staff special events and interface with attending media
