Summary

Join Wargaming's development team as a Software Engineer to build and maintain web services for our online games. You will collaborate with various teams to create, improve, and support game features and services. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working with Python or Go, with strong knowledge of Python required
  • Understanding of microservice architecture and service communication methods
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and Kubernetes

Responsibilities

  • Create, improve, support various features and services from scratch
  • Collaborate with game designers, product and service teams, and QA engineers while coordinating with other teams and departments
  • Write unit tests, create documentation, and refactor code to ensure simplicity and maintainability
  • Participate in and conduct code and technical design reviews
  • Engage in internal initiatives and R&D tasks to enhance workflows

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Golang
  • Familiarity with Linux, including basic commands and Bash scripting
  • Ability to build web services from the ground up
  • Experience working in and, of course, a passion for game development
