Remote QA Analyst

As a skilled and driven professional, you will participate in scrum team project planning, design discussions, and agile meetings, while creating test scenarios, performing manual or automated tests, and maintaining test scenario and automated tests.

Requirements

• Undergraduate diploma in Computer Science or related discipline
• 5 years of work experience as QA analyst
• Significant experience in Software Quality Assurance with involvement in automated testing of web applications
• Experience developing automated tests (Selenium, Katalon)
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL Server
• Knowledge of JavaScript and HTML5 would be a plus
• Strong foundation in testing planning
• Bilingual would be considered a plus
• Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in scrum team project planning, design discussions, and agile meetings
• Work within a scrum team to define acceptance criteria and testing strategies
• Create test scenarios
• Perform manual or automated functional, integration, regression, and performance tests
• Setup, configure, and maintain automated testing scripts in a continuous integration setting
• Deliver reusable, modular tests for targeted components, as well as web and mobile applications
• Maintain test scenario and automated tests and their accompanying documentation
