Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation for web applications
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, and Python for automated testing
  • Experience with SQL and ability to validate data across backend systems
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills, especially in complex systems
  • Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, JMeter, or similar tools
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Python, and Cypress
  • Perform API testing using tools like Postman, JMeter, or similar
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, and performance testing
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria and testing strategies
  • Participate in code reviews, daily scrums, and contribute to continuous testing practices
  • Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution
  • Support CI/CD processes and integrate test automation into the build pipeline

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in Omni Channel or Retail domain
  • Experience in Production Support or monitoring testing in live environments
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Docker, or Git
  • Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
