QA Automation Engineer

Summary

Join Blue Coding as a QA Automation Engineer and work remotely from anywhere in the specified countries! This long-term project involves a massive migration, rebuilding, and rewriting of a client's application, transitioning it to modern languages and practices. You will be part of a top-tier team creating this application from the ground up, divided into 5 phases, including post-launch support and iteration. The platform supports all business functions, from sourcing and pricing to business process automation. As the platform is rebuilt, a new UI based on Bootstrap 5 will be implemented, and certain functionalities will be deprecated to streamline the user experience. This is a fully remote position offering a salary in USD.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Test Rail or similar tools
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, and Kanban
• Fluent in English
• Strong work ethic, detail-oriented and have an ownership mentality

Responsibilities

• Create, develop and maintain automated test scripts and test suites using Test Rail, ensuring reliability and effectiveness
• Lead the effort to identify, prioritize, and automate existing manual test cases with a clear roadmap for transitioning from manual to automated testing
• Document how tests are implemented and the best ways to use them
• Maintain and improve continuous integration (CI) testing pipeline using automated testing
