QA Automation Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a QA Automation Engineer and contribute to the development and integration of custom modules for our client, a company specializing in open-source technology solutions. You will work on projects such as a medical clinic management system enabling patient-doctor communication, including telehealth. The work is fully remote, long-term, and starts ASAP. You will utilize modern web technologies like jQuery and JSON, and our proprietary framework. The team is small and collaborative, operating outside of strict Scrum frameworks, allowing for more autonomy. Standard working hours are 8-16 or 9-17, with participation in calls during those hours required.

Requirements

• Have at least 4 years of experience in software testing
• Have experience in conducting automated software tests
• Be proficient in REST and JSON
• Possess basic knowledge of Java and JavaScript
• Be independent, responsible, and communicative
• Have excellent organizational skills
• Have English skills sufficient for fluent communication within the team

Responsibilities

• Create and integrate custom modules based on client needs and requirements
• Develop and maintain automated tests for various applications
• Work on projects such as a medical clinic management system
• Conduct white box testing by reading and adding simple Java code fragments
• Design and verify user interfaces, identifying usability issues
• Participate in calls during standard working hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Have knowledge of the German language
• Have knowledge of MongoDB
• Have knowledge of HTML/jQuery
