QA Automation Engineer in Guatemala

Summary

The job is for a QA Automation Engineer who can work remotely from Latin America. The role involves assuring product quality, implementing automated tests, and potentially automating other processes. The team works in an agile environment on world-class software products.

Requirements

• Full-time availability
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic to medium programming skills
• Proven experience as QA Engineer
• Minimum 2 years of experience automating software testing

Responsibilities

Assuring the quality of digital products by detecting and prioritizing defects, identifying critical paths to automate, implementing repeatable and maintainable automated tests that continually run in a CI/CD environment

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB Certification(s) or similar
• Knowledgeable in at least one testing automation tool (Cypress, Protractor, TestCafe, Appium, etc.)
• Experience working with modern software development best practices, including code version control (git), Unit Testing, TDD, Code Reviews, CI/CD, etc
• Knowledgeable in RPA (Robot Process Automation) tools
• Experience working in agile environments
• Fluent in English
