As QA Director, you will be responsible for guiding the team towards shipping our products with a focus on building sustainable systems and mechanisms to ensure quality and stability across the Hytale experience.

Requirements

• Experience in the creation, delivery, and maintenance of testing methodologies across multiple projects and teams
• Management experience with a view to mentorship, improvement, and training. Your team is at the heart of what you do day-to-day
• Ability to balance the studio, game, and player needs vs. the realistic capacity of the team, and/or being comfortable negotiating and conveying expectations based on that pursuit of balance
• Wealth of QA knowledge and experience, alongside an understanding as to how to best utilize it in different situations
• Coordination and setting expectations for internal teams, external partners, and remote developers involved in all QA, QC, and test activities
• Fostering and maintaining a culture of quality throughout the studio, ensuring it is embedded in every stage of development

Responsibilities

• Guide the team towards shipping our products with a focus on building sustainable systems and mechanisms to ensure quality and stability across the Hytale experience
• Design, implement, and continuously evolve a robust test strategy to meet quality benchmarks across all areas of the project, ensuring effective test processes and reporting
• Hire, mentor, and develop QA team members, fostering long-term growth and expertise within the department that is up to the challenges of large-scale games while preserving team and individual health
