QA Engineer

Join DataGalaxy, a growing team that values teamwork, ambition, enthusiasm, and collaboration. As a Software Engineer in Test / QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our Data Catalog platform.

Requirements

• Have 3 to 5 years of experience in QA, automation testing
• Have experience building automated testing frameworks from the ground up
• Be familiar with end-to-end testing practices, unit testing, and integration testing
• Have experience integrating automated testing into delivery pipelines (experience with Azure DevOps is a plus)
• Have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and have worked in an Agile team environment

Responsibilities

• Be the dedicated QA point of contact for the team, fully integrated within the development cycle
• Focus on automation efforts, covering around 70-80% of your time
• Ensure the implementation of automated testing strategies using Cypress or Playwright
• Work with the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline, ensuring seamless integration of automated testing
• Drive and apply good practices for end-to-end testing, unit testing, and integration testing across projects
• Write and maintain technical documentation related to testing processes and tools
• Collaborate with a fully remote team, engaging in regular communication and supporting the Agile process
