Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with a Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or 5+ years of experience in automated and/or manual Software testing (front-end and back-end)
  • Experience with any JS test automation frameworks (e.g., NodeJs, Cucumber-WebdriverIO, Appium, Selenium, Cypress-Cucumber, Mocha, Protractor and willingness to learn new tools as necessary), Cypress and WebdriverIO is preferred
  • Strong ability to debug code, analyzes failures, and trace defects to the root cause within automation testing framework
  • Experience in automation and manual testing of Web services (Rest, GraphQL) using API testing tools such as Postman, GraphQL Playground or similar tools
  • Well versed with concepts of Performance & Load Testing with K6 and/or JMeter is desirable
  • Experience with database technologies like: MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB / Elasticsearch along with a knowledge of Database testing
  • Strong understanding of SEO, CWV, and strategies for driving organic traffic growth
  • Experience practicing contemporary software development methodologies: Agile, Scrum, XP, etc. with a clear focus on app security, performance & maintainability
  • Experience with Google Core Web Vitals
  • Experience with organic SEO concepts and paid marketing campaigns (SEM)
  • Understanding of AWS Services, Docker Containers, and CI/CD is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Owner and champion for product quality within the team
  • Accountable for an assessment of product readiness and commitments on product delivery schedules
  • Mentor Junior QA Engineers on the Web Platform teams, providing strategic guidance and direction
  • Partner with other QA Engineers and Team leadership to review and critique of technical requirements and software design specifications
  • Manage and lead test execution, defect reporting and provide comprehensive status reports to team leadership
  • Responsible for leading the execution of Web Platformโ€™s technical strategy and roadmap - creating success metrics in close collaboration with other Engineering team members
  • Champion whole team quality approach guiding team management on accountability and growth opportunities on roadmap deliverables
  • Part of an on-call rotation with team members to cover any Production issues as they arise
  • Participate in Sprint Releases
  • Assist the dev team in the analysis of defects and track them to successful resolution
