Join Faria Education Group as a passionate QA Engineer and contribute to the development of the SchoolsBuddy product. Collaborate with the R&D team, focusing on ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include creating test documentation, running manual tests, and validating new features. You will play a key role in the software development lifecycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on manual testing experience with web and mobile applications and a solid understanding of testing types and layers. Requirements

  • At least 3 years of hands-on manual testing experience of web and mobile applications
  • Solid understanding of testing types and layers (functional, non-functional) and when best to apply them
  • Solid knowledge of Client-server architecture, HTTP protocol and REST API testing
  • Confident user of browser development tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools) to investigate issues and find root causes
  • Practice with TestRail, Zephyr Scale or similar test case management tools to write and organize test suites
  • Proven ability to create, maintain, and execute test documentation (test plans, test cases, checklists)
  • Good grasp of QA processes within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • At least a B2-C1 level of English (both written and spoken) for daily communication

Responsibilities

  • Work within multi-disciplinary R&D teams and partner with product managers, developers, and fellow QA engineers to deliver high-quality features
  • Create and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases based on product requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Create and execute test cases based on requirements
  • Perform manual exploratory, functional,non-functional and regression testing of the web application
  • Test the iOS and Android applications to ensure the functionality, performance and compatibility of new features and fixes
  • Be an active member of the team, suggesting improvements to the processes to increase the quality of the product and performance of the team
  • Support the further development and implication of our Test Automation Strategy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good SQL knowledge to support Test activities
  • Knowledge of Postman for both manual and automated API testing
  • Familiarity with any of the test automation frameworks and at least one of the programming languages (JavaScript, TypeScript)
  • Familiarity with any cloud-based no/low-code AI automation tools (Mabl, Smartbear Reflect, TestSigma, e.t.c.)
  • AI usage to simplify daily QA tasks or a similar experience
  • Have used some of the following supporting tools: Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Github, Azure DevOps
