You will be responsible for manual and automated testing of web applications, collaborating with international teams. Requirements
- The position assumes 2+ years of Quality Assurance engineer expertise
- Experience in Web UI testing and responsive design testing
- Upper-intermediate English (written and spoken) and can communicate effectively
- Working with browser dev tools to analyze the bug's root cause
- Understanding the necessity of automated testing and how to benefit from it
- Experience in writing test cases and checklists
- Desire to learn e2e automation ( preferably JavaScript )
- Be able to work with test case management systems like Zephyr Scale
- Knowledge of different functional and non-functional testing types
- Understanding of client-server architecture
- Experience using testing methods and design techniques
- An ability to create and support test documentation, executing test runs
- Good understanding of QA processes in SDLC
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with the team to ensure the correct requirements are met
- Perform UI functional, non-functional, and cross-browser testing
- Provide timely feedback to developers on stories/bugs
- Create and execute test cases based on requirements from Jira
- Document useful information related to the product
- Set up and manage automated tests for happy paths/smoke tests
- Analyze QA processes and propose improvements
- Conduct release/smoke testing, feature testing, and writing e2e test cases
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with GitHub
- Experience in test automation and knowledge of test automation frameworks
- Experience with at least one programming language (preferably JavaScript)
- An eager-to-learn, flexible mindset, gain own experience, and willing to make an impact on the application
- Great communication skills and being a team player
- English β Upper-intermediate (both: writing and oral)
- Proper remote presence & etiquette (acknowledging requests in a timely fashion over Slack, not leaving requests unacknowledged at all)
- Effective adherence to operating procedures (organizing day-to-day work and large-scale tasks calmly with priority-driven sequencing)
- Readiness to coordinate work during business hours with the US West Coast team
