Join Emplifi, a leading customer engagement platform, as a QA Engineer and contribute to ensuring a seamless user experience for our clients. You will be responsible for creating and executing manual test cases, recording and resolving defects, collaborating with developers, and actively engaging with the Product Owner. Requirements
- You are competent in both written and spoken English
- Ability to write test cases and procedures according to approved specifications
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Computer operating system, appropriate subsystems, and test tool knowledge
- You have a minimum of 1 year of experience within a software development environment
- Youโre familiar with work management tools (i.e. Jira, TargetProcess, Asana)
- You have experience with project management frameworks (i.e. Agile, Scrum, or Kanban)
- You're keen on growing your knowledge and helping others
Responsibilities
- Create manual test cases based on user story specifications
- Perform test cases and maintain associated test records
- Record issues into a defect-tracking system
- Follow-up and close issues entered into the defect-tracking system
- Escalate issues to a higher level when issue resolution is not achieved within a reasonable amount of time
- Work with the development team to understand assigned modules/new product features for the purpose of developing test cases
- Actively engage with the Product Owner and Developers to ensure the viability of proposed solutions
- Perform exploratory testing once both RC and the production environment are upgraded
- Complete all scheduled tasks on time
- Work proactively on the client requests as a second line of support
- Research, design, and develop customer-focused test plans
- Develop and utilize automated test scripts to perform duties
- Regularly update technical documentation (i.e. Product Release Notes/Readme files)
