QA Engineer

Requirements

• Have 3+ years of experience in testing backend platforms
• Have an experience in selecting appropriate test data, identifying and understanding business rules/logic
• Have a good API understanding, knowledge of components of an API and HTTP methods
• Have a good understanding of testing integration, functional, end-to-end, and API tests
• Have an experience in using tools like Postman
• Know how to write SQL queries along with data consistency and integrity in relational databases
• Have an ability to create test cases and collections that exercise the requirements and business rules in collaboration with PMs
• Worked with test case management tools, preferably TestRail
• Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Are an independent problem solver who excels as a collaborative team player
• Have a very good command of English (written & spoken)
• Show readiness to learn and expand your skill set as required by ongoing projects
• Are available in the afternoons - due to collaboration with the United States, evening meetings may occur

Responsibilities

• Deeply collaborate with 1-2 Engineering teams, actively participating in the development of new features and initiatives, from initial requirement analysis and test planning to execution, regression testing, and final release sign-off
• Partner closely with Product Managers, prioritizing testing efforts, clarifying requirements, challenging assumptions from a quality perspective, coordinating Business Acceptance Testing, and advocating for the needs of our customers
• Work closely with SDETs to expand and maintain our automated test coverage for new features and regression testing. Collaborate with other manual QA engineers on cross-team and cross-BU projects
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability
