Join Granicus' Swagit Productions team as a Quality Assurance Specialist in our remote Costa Rica team! Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the accuracy of video content before delivery to clients. Requirements

  • Strong command of the English language with excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong time management skills, the ability to effectively prioritize tasks in line with business requirements and deadlines while working remotely
  • Knowledge of FTP clients
  • Knowledge of non-linear/linear video editing systems
  • Experience with Google Docs and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Clear understanding of video formatting
  • Strong at attention to detail
  • Experience working in a remote environment and the ability to maintain effective communication with team members across various time zones
  • Access a quiet and professional environment for focused transcription work, free of background noise and distractions
  • Comfortable using digital communication tools to collaborate with teams and customers
  • Familiar with remote work tools like cloud storage and virtual meeting software
  • Reside in Costa Rica

Responsibilities

  • Review video content of public sector customers, identifying errors, inconsistencies, technical issues, and audio and visual defects
  • Ensure the video meets the Granicus required standards, customer specifications, and any other documented compliance
  • Document issues in detailed records. Reporting on trends and patterns to direct leadership
  • Manage queue and backlog. Ensure timely resolution, rapid prioritization and maintain an organized backlog
  • Work under tight deadlines to meet customer compliance laws while maintaining attention to detail, ensuring timely delivery of video content
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve upon the process with the video production team
  • Address feedback and make necessary revisions based on customer or internal requests
  • Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program
  • Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies
