Summary

Join our team as Head of Testing and lead the development of our global software testing strategy, ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of all technology products. You will be responsible for designing scalable QA processes, defining quality standards, and coordinating cross-functional teams. This role requires a strong understanding of various testing methodologies and experience leading and growing a QA/Testing team. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the development lifecycle to embed quality throughout. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years in QA/Testing roles, with at least 3 years leading testing or QA teams
  • Proven experience in test automation and QA management in Agile environments
  • Experience with tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Cypress, TestRail, Jenkins, etc
  • Strong understanding of testing strategies: functional, non-functional, automated, performance, security, etc
  • CI/CD pipeline experience
  • Basic programming knowledge (Java, Python, JS, or similar)
  • Experience in cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Strategic thinking and results-driven approach
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • High focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the overall testing strategy (manual, automated, performance, regression, integration, etc.)
  • Lead and grow the QA/Testing team, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement
  • Evaluate and select testing tools, automation frameworks, and methodologies (TDD, BDD, Agile, DevOps, etc.)
  • Oversee the planning, design, and execution of test plans to ensure that products meet technical and functional requirements
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle
  • Establish and monitor quality KPIs (e.g., defect density, test coverage, defect leakage)
  • Ensure compliance with quality and security standards for critical or regulated products (if applicable)
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation plans across all stages of the software lifecycle
  • Foster innovation within the testing area
