Quality Assurance Analyst

Summary

The job is for a Quality Assurance Analyst with at least 5-10 years of testing experience in Fixed Income Trading Systems. The role involves testing trading applications, writing test scenarios, coordinating testing efforts, and ensuring issues are promptly addressed or escalated as needed. The position is full-time, contractor based, and remote in any Latin American country.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of testing experience with exposure to Real-Time Trading Systems
• Proficiency in SQL and experience in SQL query writing
• Good understanding of the Test Life Cycle and SDLC
• Good working knowledge of application integration and testing
• Good understanding of the Credit Market and general Fixed Income is a must

Responsibilities

• Train, develop, and ensure team members are performing their job tasks successfully
• Prioritize, multi-task, and ensure completion of all projects and job tasks
• Coordinate testing efforts among team members ensuring deadlines are met
• Communicate with QA team members regularly on matters related to testing efforts and environments
• Ensure any issues during QA are promptly addressed or escalated as needed
• Write test scenarios and test scripts based on Product specification documents and business user interactions
• Create test scenarios based on understanding of systems in order to perform Integration testing, regression tests, new functionality, and stress/performance conditions
• Build test repository and document all test cases
• Create automated test cases where possible
• Document test progress and incident tracking
• Perform functional, integration, and performance testing of trading applications
• Execute test cases and execution suites
• Track issues found during SIT and throughout the QA lifecycle
• Set up test environment and configuration files to perform integration testing
• Use database scripts to execute and validate trade data

Preferred Qualifications

Hands on experience in testing trade reporting and billing systems is preferred
