Quality Assurance Analyst - Test Automation

Requirements

• Proficiency in Portuguese and intermediate English skills (reading, writing)
• Proven experience working in QA roles for 5 years or more
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Playwright), with a preference for Cypress
• Solid experience in database testing, including writing and executing SQL queries
• Knowledge of problem analysis and resolution methodologies

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing detailed test plans and test cases for both new features and regression testing
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for APIs, backend services, and web applications, using frameworks such as Cypress (or similar)
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (development, product management, customer support) to understand requirements and develop effective testing strategies
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects and inconsistencies
• Providing timely and detailed feedback to the development team to ensure swift resolution of issues
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
• Participating in the design and review of new features, providing input from a quality perspective
• Conducting performance and security testing to ensure our software meets stringent industry standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with software quality assurance and testing of web applications and HTTP APIs, including automated testing tools and frameworks
• Prior experience working with non-relational databases (e.g., Elasticsearch)
• Previous experience as a QA in systems based on microservices architecture , including tools like RabbitMQ
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
