Summary

mabl is a company focused on building an easy-to-use low-code test automation solution. They are looking for a tester to join their team, perform manual and exploratory testing, provide feedback for product enhancements, collaborate with teams, analyze and report results, and improve test data. The position is fully remote and requires regular overlap with US Eastern Time hours.

Requirements

• You have testing experience with external facing web applications or mobile apps and understanding of the underlying technologies
• You are a skilled manual and exploratory tester who empathizes with end-users
• You have demonstrable experience creating and executing test plans
• You have a thorough understanding of the software development life cycle
• You have experience using command line tools and utilities to assist with testing
• You have a high bar for quality of user experience
• You have a demonstrable interest in test automation and how it improves quality for high-velocity software development
• You have some software development experience which will enable you, for example, to write Javascript snippets to support testing or to build tests with code-based frameworks like Playwright
• You constantly learn, challenge assumptions, and ensure your work is providing high customer value
• You are an effective communicator
• You are excited to learn new technologies and contribute wherever needed

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and exploratory testing of the mabl test automation platform
• Provide feedback for product enhancements based on results of testing
• Collaborate with quality engineers, software developers, and product managers to plan and design testing activities
• Analyze and report results of quality-related activities to stakeholders
• Improve and enhance test data and data shapes as necessary for in-depth testing
