You will be responsible for formulating test strategies, designing test cases, and executing tests on new and existing projects. Represent QA concerns in cross-functional meetings and provide valuable user feedback. This role requires planning, analyzing, designing, and developing test cases, performing functional and non-functional testing, logging and tracking defects, and maintaining test cases and plans. You will also collaborate on business analysis, prepare test environments, handle first-level support, and participate in the project implementation cycle. Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
- Minimum 2 yearsβ working experience in a software development environment
- Good testing and analytical skills
- Passion for testing and improving product quality as well as introducing innovative testing methods
- Good understanding of Quality Assurance
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organization skills β Ability to handle a dynamic environment
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Initiative and ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to tasks
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Responsibilities
- To plan, analyze, design, and develop test cases based on various requirements documentation using practical testing concepts to ensure adequate test coverage
- Perform functional/non-functional manual test execution to ensure quality code releases
- Log defects and tract to closure
- Take ownership of QA activities on assigned projects, follow through acceptance from the test case design to acceptance of the test results with the Project Lead
- Maintain and update test cases and test plans in a timely manner
- Record all test results and analyze to provide a high-level summary for areasβ tested
- Collaborate on business/requirements analysis and identify requirements traceability
- Prepare and set up a required test environment and test data based on project requirements
- Handle the first level of support on the support cases opened for the project releases. Also, coordinate with the stakeholder/reporter of the case and the team on the solution/fixes
- Involve in the project implementation cycle
- Any other duties as assigned
