Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test management tools
  • Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Proficiency in testing web applications and APIs (REST, SOAP)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and testing environments
  • Experience with performance and security testing is a plus
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for automation (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Full working proficiency in English

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for various applications
  • Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs and issues
  • Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of applications
  • Ensure applications meet functional and non-functional requirements
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to troubleshoot, identify, and resolve issues
  • Review and analyze user stories and acceptance criteria to define test strategies
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to ensure high-quality software
  • Provide regular reports on testing progress, results, and defect tracking
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely project delivery
  • Advocate for best practices in QA and ensure compliance with established quality standards
