This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years of QA experience, strong knowledge of testing methodologies, proficiency in manual and automated testing, experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a QA Engineer in a software development environment
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages. (Cypress, Selenium, etc)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software

Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure complete coverage of software functionality
  • Use automated test scripts to efficiently identify defects, regressions, and performance issues
  • Identify, document, and report defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues
  • Work with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and provide input on product improvements
  • Maintain detailed records of testing activities and ensure testing documentation is up to date
  • Write and maintain code for test automation scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and programming languages
  • Regularly update and enhance automated test scripts to keep pace with software changes and ensure script reliability
  • Document test results, defects, and automation progress. Communicate findings to the QA team and developers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and industry trends is a plus
  • Knowledge of web development and technologies is a plus. (Typescript - React, Python - Django, Ruby - Ruby On Rails)
