We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 6 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer in a software development environment
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (Cypress, Selenium, etc)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software
Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure complete coverage of software functionality
- Use automated test scripts to efficiently identify defects, regressions, and performance issues
- Identify, document, and report defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues
- Work with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and provide input on product improvements
- Maintain detailed records of testing activities and ensure testing documentation is up to date
- Write and maintain code for test automation scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and programming languages
- Regularly update and enhance automated test scripts to keep pace with software changes and ensure script reliability
- Document test results, defects, and automation progress. Communicate findings to the QA team and developers
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and industry trends is a plus
- Knowledge of web development and technologies is a plus. (Typescript - React, Python - Django, Ruby - Ruby On Rails)
