Quality Assurance Intern

Summary

The Quality Assurance Intern at Appier will be part of the QA team, responsible for manual testing, bug reporting, and exploratory testing. The internship is part-time and lasts for 6 months with an opportunity to transition to a full-time position.

Requirements

• Able to understand requirements, specifications, and follow the test steps written in English
• Interested in learning new technology and solving real world problems
• A graduating student/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Manual Test Execution
• Reporting bugs via JIRA
• Bug fix verification
• Exploratory Testing with guided charter
• (Advertising Cloud) Test the AD in App/Website, record the screen video and network traffic log(get from proxy server log) from click AD to open the destination product page
• (Personalization Cloud, Data Cloud) Test the multi channel marketing automation service empowered by AI. Ensure integration between components or products. Find weak links in complex system architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in web and mobile application testing
• Experience in HTTP Protocol and its functionality (RESTful API, Cookie, WebUI, ..)
• Experience in Fiddler/Charles proxy server
• Experience in Postman/SoapUI HTTP test
• Good communication skills in English
