Summary
Join Parallelz as a highly motivated QA Tester to ensure the flawless performance of partner products, especially games, on our platform. You will play a critical role in maintaining user and partner trust by setting standards, proactively identifying issues, and owning the quality of experiences across various environments. This is a full-time, remote contract position. Responsibilities include validating partner products across different environments, setting QA standards, designing test cases, performing various types of manual testing, ensuring both functional and non-functional testing, and delivering clear QA reports. The role requires 1–2 years of QA experience, a strong understanding of manual testing, experience testing across platforms, familiarity with QA documentation, and a proactive mindset. Excellent communication skills are essential.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in QA or software testing roles
- Strong understanding of manual testing practices, techniques, and tools
- Experience testing across platforms (web, mobile, desktop) and environments
- Familiarity with writing and maintaining QA documentation and test cases
- A proactive mindset—constantly looking to improve coverage and identify edge cases
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
Responsibilities
- Validate Partner Products: Test and verify that our partners’ games and experiences function seamlessly across various environments—devices, operating systems, browsers, regions, locales, and network conditions
- Set QA Standards: Create, maintain, and evolve checklists and test plans for key workflows such as sales demos, public launches, and partner onboarding
- Think Ahead: Design test cases that simulate diverse customer environments and behaviors, staying one step ahead of real-world issues
- Manual Testing: Execute exploratory, smoke, sanity, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Functional & Non-Functional Testing: Ensure features not only work, but perform well under real-world conditions
- Own the Output: Deliver clear, actionable QA reports and documentation to guide teams and inform decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Experience with games
