Requirements
Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and end-to-end test cases to maintain robust test coverage
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment to define and execute functional and non-functional test cases
- Own the quality process throughout the product lifecycle, from design and development to deployment, ensuring rigorous standards are met
- Perform exploratory, functional, API, regression, and smoke testing to enhance software quality
- Build domain expertise to provide actionable insights that improve the user experience
- Collaborate with team members to ensure Quality Assurance tests meet specifications, are peer-reviewed, and align with user needs
- Implement best practices and Quality Assurance metrics with the Quality Assurance Manager, contributing to data-driven decisions and continuous improvement
- Align with company goals and follow Quality Assurance department standards to maintain quality and efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, with expertise in both manual and automated testing
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex software requirements and technical designs
- Proficiency in manual/automation tools and scripting languages
- Familiarity with CI/CD infrastructure tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and NewRelic
- Practical understanding of Agile SDLC and Quality Assurance methodologies, including white-box and black-box testing
- Experience writing test cases, managing defects, and utilizing tools such as Testrail and Jira
- Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter, BlazeMeter, TestIm, or Selenium is a plus
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, REST APIs) and databases (SQL, NoSQL)
