Quality Assurance Specialist

Summary

The job is a full-time Quality Assurance position in an architectural firm that requires a licensed architect with at least 10 years of experience. The role involves checking architects' output, coordinating with clients and the Client Success team, providing updates to the executive team, facilitating training for new hires, and identifying continuous learning strategies. The job can be done remotely.

Requirements

• Licensed Architect
• At least 10 years of experience in Architectural design, from concept to construction
• Experience doing Quality check of architectural drawings
• High proficiency in Autocad and Revit
• Must be able to communicate with team members at all levels
• Available to work according to US timing

Responsibilities

• Check architects’ output in terms of overall correctness, content cohesiveness, accuracy and timeliness prior to submitting to client
• Spearhead communication with architects to resolve clashes or corrections identified on the reviewed output
• Proactively coordinate with Client Success team to get updates on feedbacks and propose resolution for clients’ output related concerns
• Update QA monitoring log sheet
• Provide regular updates to the executive team regarding QA status
• Facilitate training of newly hired architects prior to their onboarding with respective clients
• Responsible for identifying continuous learning strategies

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge in checking engineering drawings is an advantage but not required
