Requirements

  • Be a US Citizen
  • Obtain and maintain clearance at the Public Trust level or above
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Have 3+ years of experience as a QA Tester or in a similar role
  • Possess strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Have hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing
  • Have experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
  • Possess familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar
  • Have basic programming skills and understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript)
  • Possess familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
  • Have knowledge of database testing and SQL
  • Have experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
  • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the development team to thoroughly analyze project requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of functionality and business goals to design comprehensive and effective test cases
  • Conduct in-depth manual and automated testing across various platforms, meticulously identifying, documenting, and categorizing bugs, performance issues, and inconsistencies
  • Develop, update, and execute detailed test plans, test scripts, and testing protocols, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements
  • Implement robust testing strategies including functional, regression, performance, load, stress, and usability testing to ensure software integrity and user experience excellence
  • Utilize advanced bug tracking tools to log, manage, and prioritize defects, while validating fixes and ensuring their integration into subsequent builds
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, contributing insights from a QA perspective to enhance team productivity
  • Provide clear, concise, and data-driven communication of test progress, results, metrics, and defect status to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and informed decision-making
  • Proactively identify opportunities for enhancing testing methodologies, tools, and workflows, contributing to the continuous improvement of quality assurance practices and team standards
