Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Experience or comfort with working in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees)
• Strong verbal communications skills
• Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to
• Ability to thrive in a repetitive and fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complies with all state and local regulations
• Performs frequent QC audits on produce and grocery products throughout the warehouse
• Responsible for verifying the quality and accuracy of inbound deliveries, including temperature and pressure checks
• Identifies and reports any potential food safety or quality problems, immediately escalating to the Lead and/or Supervisor
• Documents and maintains legible, accurate records of all food products in the warehouse including discarded and damaged products from various departments
• Performs basic mathematical computations when conducting audits, inspections, and cycle counts
• Reports any issues regarding low yields so they can be escalated appropriately
• Effectively manages time and changing priorities to minimize downtime in the receiving and production departments

Preferred Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
• Experience working in a food based environment
