Quality Engineer Lead

Summary

Join Stack's Hardware Engineering team as a Quality Program Manager, leading and managing the company's overall quality program. This role involves creating and managing internal operational procedures and facilitating the acquisition and maintenance of industry-standard quality certifications. The position requires regular onsite presence in New Stanton, PA, with consideration given to remote employees on a case-by-case basis and infrequent travel to partner sites. You will lead internal and external quality efforts, maintain data-driven reports on quality performance, and work cross-functionally to implement QA processes. The ideal candidate possesses a BS in a relevant engineering field, 10+ years of experience in a quality role within the automotive or commercial vehicle industry, and expertise with ISO-9001 and IATF-16949 standards. ASQ certification is a plus.

Requirements

• BS in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering or other relevant fields
• Minimum 10 Years of Experience or equivalent combination of degree and experience
• Previously held quality role in automotive or commercial vehicle industry
• Expertise with ISO-9001 and IATF-16949 quality standards

Responsibilities

• Create and Manage Stack’s overall Quality Program
• Lead internal and external quality efforts including with OEM and Tier1 partners
• Maintain data-driven reports on Stack’s quality performance
• Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to implement Quality Assurance processes
