Summary

You will be responsible for hitting company-set payment targets, developing and implementing revenue cycle strategies, overseeing billing accuracy, monitoring accounts receivable, ensuring regulatory compliance, collaborating with various teams, and providing leadership and training. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, strong knowledge of medical billing and coding, proficiency in relevant software, and excellent analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will also possess experience in high-growth companies, SQL proficiency, and data visualization skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management within the healthcare sector
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and healthcare reimbursement methodologies
  • Proficiency in revenue cycle management software and electronic health record systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a remote work environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for hitting the percentage paid targets set by the company
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the revenue cycle, including billing, coding, claims submission, and collections
  • Oversee the accuracy of patient billing information and ensure timely submission of claims to insurance providers
  • Monitor accounts receivable, identify trends, and implement solutions to reduce denials and improve cash flow
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, billing guidelines, and coding standards
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to streamline processes and improve patient satisfaction
  • Provide leadership and training to the revenue cycle team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working at a high-growth technology or financial services company
  • Experience with SQL or a willingness to learn
  • Experience in data visualization and dashboarding
  • Sage/Metabase or other equivalent application experience
