Summary
Join Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) as a Manager, RCM Performance Analytics! Lead and mentor a team of analysts, overseeing RCM performance metrics, developing insightful reports, and identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, reduce denials, and optimize revenue. Contribute to strategic planning and design training programs. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience in RCM or performance analytics, and proficiency in data analysis tools. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5 years RCM or performance analytics experience
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with experience in training and mentoring staff
- Ability to analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and discrepancies
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (i.e. Excel, Google Sheets, etc) and experience with data software (i.e. Power BI)
- Strong analytical skills to address complex issues and develop effective solutions
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
- Knowledge of medical billing/coding, front-office, physician practice management and healthcare business processes
- Strong understanding of various insurance carriers, including Medicare, private HMOs, and PPOs
- Ability to manage and integrate information located in multiple software systems
- Experience working with global vendors
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of RCM Performance Analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of RCM performance metrics. Develop dashboards and reports to communicate insights and trends to senior management and stakeholders
- Identify areas for improvement within the revenue cycle processes, implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce denials, and optimize revenue capture
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Coding, Client Success, Operations and other BOOST departments to ensure alignment on client performance goals and initiatives
- Facilitate communication between billing, coding, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment on performance goals and data integrity
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans aimed at improving overall revenue cycle performance, leveraging data insights to drive decision-making
- Design and implement training programs for staff on RCM metrics, data interpretation, and best practices in performance analytics
- Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the RCM Performance Analysts data to inform decision-making
- Identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies in BOOST processes that lead to delays or revenue loss
- Analyzing patterns in claim denials and developing strategies to reduce their occurrence
