Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of equivalent and relevant experience in RCM / process management
- Ability to effectively collaborate across various teams and vendors
- Knowledge of medical billing, front office, physician practice management and healthcare business processes and workflow
- Understanding of medical billing/coding with an understanding of various insurance carriers, including Medicare, private HMOs and PPOs
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills for a variety of audiences
- Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Keen knowledge of RCM technical integrative workflows, process-mapping, and escalation resolution
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. Can systematically and logically work to identify causation and resolve problems
Responsibilities
- Serve as principle point of contact for CardioOne and practice partner technical vendor relationships, system build, exceptions in workflow and optimization opportunities
- Be an expert resource to effectively track vendor integrations, deliverables, and escalations to timely resolve issues/questions related to RCMโs strategic plan and execution of standardized policies and procedures
- Oversee the monthly reconciliation of RCM technical vendor partners (i.e. Medaxiom/Coding, Hybrid Chart/Charge Capture, Ancillary Facilities for Practice Partners, Nsight/Recora/RPM-CCM, Octagos etc.)
- Ensure compliance with government and commercial payer contracts, payer relations and Athena system edits/custom rules, ACO agreements, MIPS/MACRA, coding standards, and CPT Category II quality reporting
- Actively participate in routine system reviews and audits of processes, serving as an escalation resource for RCM related issues, and aid in developing action plans to address negative trends or unfavorable audit outcomes
- Serve as an expert resource in monitoring and maintaining/exceeding RCM KPIโs in AR Management targets, Cost to Collect, Charge Entry Lag, Clinical Inbox Management, Avoidable Denials, Clean Claim Submission Rate, TOS Collections, and Net Collections Rate
- Continue assisting RCM and practice partners in improving patient experiences, efficient service delivery, and financial performance
