React Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• Experience with reusable components and familiarity with UI component libraries (Material-UI, Ant Design)
• Advanced proficiency in React.js, including hooks, state management (Redux or Context API), and component lifecycle
• Strong foundational skills in HTML/CSS
• Python scripting

Responsibilities

• Build and improve the UI in Wiki and Wikibase to improve the user experience of working in the client’s tools
• Build new features aligned with the documentation standards

Preferred Qualifications

• A solid understanding of server-side development and common backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js) to bridge frontend work
• Good communication skills
• Open to learning new skills and take on new challenges
• Be able to work with fast changing priorities and adapt
