Summary

Join Gopuff as a Regional Manager II and lead a team of General Managers, driving success in a fast-paced, remote role with 3-4 days a week of travel within the New York Metro area. This intense role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to execute strategies that deliver a perfect customer experience. You will coach and develop team members, track key metrics, and develop strategies for improvement. Success hinges on your ability to effectively lead a team and manage daily operations across multiple sites. The role demands extensive retail leadership experience and a proven track record of managing significant P&Ls.

Requirements

  • Have 10+ years of retail leadership experience and the having managed >25M in P&Ls
  • Can lead 10+ sites in 5+ states
  • Extensive travel and have a market presence 3-4 days a week

Responsibilities

  • Support your territory team of local general managers in their daily efforts to ensure that we have the proper direction for managing day-to-day operations
  • Coach and develop team members in your sites to continue to improve while preparing them to take on new roles and responsibilities
  • Track daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual metrics to measure success
  • Develop strategies to improve the experience that we deliver to our customers
  • Monitor Damaged and Expired products and goods
  • Maintain control of shrink by resolving any opportunities
  • Develop and oversee upward reporting to ensure HQ leadership is connected to the field
  • Serve as the liaison between department rollout, local territory execution and other department leadership partners
  • Remain knowledgeable of local competition that could impact the business
  • Acquire top talent through direct involvement in the interview, hiring, and on-boarding process
  • Ensure your sites are operating at appropriate staffing levels and anticipate needs
  • Assist in the launch of new sites within your territory
  • Develop a deep bench of talent by focusing on performance management and succession planning
  • Manage regulatory compliance and address any lapse within corporate policies or local laws

Preferred Qualifications

D&A and Business Development background preferred

Benefits

$110,000 - $150,000 a year
