Requirements
- Ability to travel up from 25-50% domestically and manage an easter/central US territory
- 5+ years experience in healthcare-related software sales and a consistent track record of managing sales cycles, closing deals & successful revenue attainment
- Experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners, including C-suite executives
- Consultative selling, pipeline management & negotiating skills
- Ability to quickly learn the medical specialty you are selling into
- Professional and engaging communication and presentation skills
- Driven, competitive, and goal-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Define and execute territory sales plans and then meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities within the assigned geographic territory
- Proactively cultivate and develop relationships with prospective healthcare clients to identify, qualify and develop quality sales opportunities as part of the sales team focusing on net new business
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to consistently close business within assigned specialty, territory, and segment
- Manage sales cycles from lead to close, including quote creation and contract negotiations
- Utilize consultative selling skills to build trusted relationships with prospective customers
- Develop strong product and industry knowledge to demo Modernizing Medicine's suite of solutions to prospective clients effectively
- Leverage internal resources throughout the sales cycle, including product support and sales engineering
- Ensure data integrity and accurate forecasting by entering and maintaining accurate and useful customer data, including customer contact information and interactions in our Salesforce CRM software
- Actively participate in industry-relevant trade shows
