Regulatory Analyst

Summary

The job is for a Regulatory Analyst in the Compliance Team at CloudWalk, a fast-growing fintech company. The role involves analyzing and monitoring regulatory demands in the financial market and payments sector, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Complete higher education in a related field
• Relevant experience in the Payment Institution, acquirer, sub-acquirer market, and fintechs
• Fluent Portuguese and English
• Extensive knowledge of technology
• Familiarity with COSIF norms for conglomerate type 3

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with teams to analyze and monitor regulatory demands in the financial market and payments sector
• Participating in and monitoring regulatory discussions related to the payments market, including Zetta
• Conducting regulatory analysis associated with Open Banking, Sandbox, PIX, Real Digital, and other relevant initiatives
• Monitoring the development of new products and features from a regulatory and compliance perspective
• Serving as the focal point for the Compliance team in monitoring compliance programs such as Chargeback programs and Fraud Prevention in relation to schemes
• Engaging in relationship-building with schemes and ensuring business areas are updated on program compliance
• Interacting and following up with cross-functional teams, including Product, Technology, Financial, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and Projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience participating in the authorization process of financial institutions is a plus
• Understanding of rules applicable to SCFI
