Requirements

  • At least 3 years working in a management position
  • Experience managing a diverse team
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Meet challenges positively and bring a strong willingness to teach and learn
  • Seek to maintain and develop a workforce which is driven and supported to succeed
  • Excellent project management, organisational, and communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills and intermediate SQL skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to easily learn new software systems and tools
  • Fluent in German (C-level) and have very good English proficiencies (minimum requirement B2-level)

Responsibilities

  • Manage a growing team of abstractors who work remotely throughout Germany
  • Track the growth and change in demand for abstraction across our International data products
  • Ensure abstraction capacity by overseeing and planning abstractor training
  • Translate abstraction capacity into reliable workforce operations plans
  • Measure and further define metrics to evaluate key performance goals
  • Manage and lead the Abstraction team in Germany (include a remote workforce)
  • Build and maintain our Abstraction team, creating an open and transparent workforce aligned to our mission
  • Drive effective and efficient processes by developing and implementing standards and practices that drive optimal performance at scale
  • Develop an operational framework for abstraction-related processes
  • Be involved with project-management ownership related to abstraction
  • Support quality assurance on dataset deliverables
  • Advocate for operational and technical solutions that accelerate progress, promote reliability and sustainability of our business processes
  • Collaborate with our product, software engineering, and data insights teams to prioritise, develop and scale these data products within Germany
  • Collaborate with other Abstraction teams in the UK and Japan to make informed trade offs and to pursue alignment across markets
