Remote Accessibility Consultant

Summary

Join our team as an Accessibility Consultant and work with clients to test and validate user interfaces against accessibility requirements, utilizing your experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Requirements

• Technical Experience - If HTML, JavaScript, and CSS make you want to get out of bed in the morning, this is probably a good job for you
• Communicative - You should be able to clearly and effectively communicate with clients in both written and verbal fashion
• Testing Focus - A portion of what you will do involves testing interfaces and validating that they conform to technical requirements

• Education and Experience Requirements
• BS degree in technology or equivalent work
• 4+ years HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Strong working knowledge of Accessibility framework, i.e., Section 508, EN 349 501, WCAG 2.X

Responsibilities

• Test plan Definition – work with our global teams to determine the boundaries of the testing environment for our clients
• Testing – test client’s systems against specific manual tests and assistive technology tools
• Technical Consultation – You will consult with customers on the proper methods for implementing digital accessibility in systems
• Consistency and Quality Assurance – You will work to support, review and provide a feedback loop, maintaining consistency and quality together with our globally diversified group of accessibility professionals
