  • Act as a key liaison between the accounting team and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and project execution
  • Provide training and support to the accounting team on new systems and processes

What’s the opportunity?

The Accounting Projects Analyst will work within the accounting team, focusing on project-based initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, system implementations, process standardization and simplification, and compliance improvements. This role involves identifying and driving improvements across the accounting processes, collaborating with regional and global teams to implement best practices, and supporting the accounting team in optimizing workflows and system usage.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead and support initiatives for systems implementations (e.g., ERP systems), ensuring seamless integration with accounting operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process standardization and simplification to improve efficiency within the accounting function.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance compliance processes and ensure alignment with global standards and local regulations.
  • Assist with accounting-related projects to improve the team’s overall operational effectiveness.
  • Analyze existing accounting processes and recommend improvements based on industry best practices.

What skills do you need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • 3+ years of accounting or accounting-related project experience, ideally in a global organization.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives, system implementations (e.g., ERP systems), and compliance improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with the fintech or payments industry is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills, with a focus on efficiency and detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • SAP Fiori experience is desirable.
