Remote AQA Engineer

Summary

Join our front-end development team as a highly motivated Automation QA to create, maintain, and improve automated testing solutions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in test automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and software testing best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Good knowledge of software testing concepts and QA methodologies
• Proven experience in Web or Mobile UI testing using automation tools such as Cypress or similar
• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Javascript or Java
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills with proven fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and improve automated test cases using appropriate tools and frameworks
• Develop and maintain detailed test plans that outline test strategies, objectives, resources, schedules, and deliverables
• Perform manual testing on new and existing features to ensure software quality and functionality
• Collaborate with the development team to identify, report, and resolve bugs
• Participate in planning and reviewing test activities to ensure comprehensive coverage
• Document test results and provide detailed reports on any issues found
• Contribute to the continuous optimisation of QA processes, proposing improvements and innovations
• Maintain effective communication with team members and other stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience with Cypress will be considered an asset
