Remote Business Analyst

Summary

Join our team as a Business Analyst/Project Manager to serve as the key business liaison between operational units and information technology, ensuring processes are aligned with organizational strategies.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between various business departments and groups
• Gather, review and analyze business and industry data, including KPIs, financial reports and other key metrics using data analytics tools
• Assess options for process improvement, including business process modeling
• Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes and operations
• Create process maps and workflow diagrams to illustrate current and future states
• Create detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions
• Propose and design technical and process solutions to meet business needs
• Identify specific business opportunities and ways to capitalize on them
• Test business processes and recommend improvements
• Identify automation opportunities
• Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to help others understand business performance
• Drive awareness of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data
• Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels
• Identify and communicate with key stakeholders
• Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations and then translate those into strategies and milestones
• Collaborate with product managers on roadmap planning and workforce optimization
• Develop presentations for Senior Leadership and business units
• Influence stakeholders to support business projects
• Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories
• Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders
• Create and implement precise management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels
• Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development
• Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production to ensure maximum usability
