Remote Communications Intern

Summary

Join Active Minds as a Communications Intern and contribute to changing the culture around mental health through messaging and media. As part of the Communications and Marketing team, interns will learn how to develop messages that motivate people to get involved with Active Minds and in mental health advocacy.

Requirements

• Interest in mental health and uplifting young adult voices
• Ability to research and pitch blog article topics
• Strong writing, storytelling, editing, and communications skills
• Creative thinker
• Attention to detail
• Team player with a willingness to learn
• Passion for communications and marketing

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and proofread materials such as blog posts, website content, eNewsletters, press releases, and marketing collateral
• Research to support key initiatives and media pitches
• Student outreach/communication
