Remote Content Delivery Manager

Join our team as a Content Delivery Manager and lead a large team of writers to ensure timely and high-quality content delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong team management skills, and can work efficiently across multiple projects and deadlines.

Requirements

• A minimum of three years of experience in editing and writing
• A two- or four-year college degree
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including knowledge of AP style
• Comfortable working quickly under deadlines while maintaining attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of full-time writers and a pool of freelance writers
• Provide regular feedback to full-time writers in collaboration with Editorial Managers to improve performance and content quality
• Act as the first approver for freelance writer invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with budgetary guidelines
• Collaborate with the finance team to streamline invoice processes and maintain clear records
• Track and report outsource content spend by brand and squad monthly
• Provide insights on budget utilization and make recommendations for optimizing outsourced content costs
• Assist Editorial Managers with content brief creation as needed, ensuring briefs are clear, comprehensive, and aligned with content strategy goals
• Work closely with the Head of Content Delivery to ensure that content production deadlines are met across the team
• Monitor project timelines and address any delays or bottlenecks in the content production process
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Design, and Product to align content production with overall business goals
• Communicate updates on content production schedules, freelance resource management, and budgetary concerns to the Head of Content Delivery
• Other duties as assigned by the Head of Content Delivery

Preferred Qualifications

• Past experience writing about the gaming industry and sports betting or online casino
• Experience working in WordPress or the ability to learn a new CMS quickly
