Join Caylent, a cloud native services company, as a Data Engineer on our growing Cloud Data Engineering team. You will design data pipelines and collaborate with architects, engineering managers, and engineers to deliver AWS solutions. Your responsibilities include understanding client requirements, participating in Agile ceremonies, writing production-ready code, building infrastructure and data pipelines, troubleshooting issues, and participating in code reviews. You will need experience with ETL, CI/CD pipelines, SQL, analytics, data governance, AWS services (RDS, Aurora, Glue, Lambda, SDKs), data warehousing, relational databases, and Infrastructure as Code tools. Requirements
- Committed to delivering exceptional client experiences, professionally responding to customer inquiries, clearly communicating project status, and providing valuable solutions aligned to client needs
- Demonstrates strong collaboration with internal teams, proactively aligning on priorities, responding to clients, and addressing client feedback
- Effectively communicates technical information clearly and actively listens to clients and team members to confirm understanding and prevent miscommunication
- Experience with ETL, CI/CD pipelines, SQL, analytics, and data governance
- Experience with AWS services like RDS, Aurora, Glue, Lambda, and SDKs
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and relational databases like Redshift, Snowflake, Postgres, MySQL
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Architects and Engineering Managers to deliver high-quality technical solutions
- Understand client requirements to build solutions defined in project backlogs
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos
- Write production-ready, well-tested, and documented code across cloud environments
- Contribute to building infrastructure, data pipelines, or application components depending on project needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development, staging, etc
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within your team
