Requirements

  • 4+ years of work experience, with a background in digital communications, media, and/or journalism
  • Superior written communication skills; must be a highly skilled writer and editor across all formats
  • Expertise in visual and multimedia storytelling on digital platforms, including original content creation through images, video, infographics, and timelines
  • Strong awareness of current events and news judgment; must be knowledgeable about the latest events on college campuses and in the Middle East
  • Deep knowledge of Jewish history, and specifically the history of the Jewish people in Israel
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills; must be detail-oriented
  • Graphic design experience using Canva, the Adobe Suite, and/or similar software

Responsibilities

  • Create original written, visual, social media-style, and native content for the Campus for All website
  • Manage and work closely with the website front-end design vendor to create new interactive infographics and related content for the website
  • Collaborate closely with the Israel Action and Addressing Antisemitism Program (IAP) and Center for Jewish and Israel Education (CJIE) departments to curate and adapt existing Hillel educational content for use on the website
  • Ensure all aspects of the Campus for All website are up-to-date on a daily basis as news changes on college campuses and in the Middle East
  • Curate leading media sources and digital influencers about the topic of antisemitism on campus, and highlight on Campus for All website
  • Work closely with colleagues in communications and social media to drive traffic to the Campus for All website, and promote new features and content to both student and community audiences
  • Collaborate closely on content with students who participate in the Digital Content Creators Forum, the signature program of Hillel Internationalโ€™s Israel Leadership Network
  • Track and share analytics and key performance metrics to identify trends in site traffic, content usage, entry sources, and other visitor behavior
